Timesheet Statuses
A timesheet is always in one of three states:
What happens when an approver rejects
There is no separate "rejected" status. Rejecting a timesheet returns it to Draft so you can fix and resubmit it — the point is to hand it back to you, not to park it in a dead end.
The rejection is still on the record: the approver's name, the time, and the reason they gave are all kept on the timesheet, and you'll see the reason on the timesheet detail page. So a sheet sitting in Draft with a rejection reason means "changes requested", not "never submitted".
