Navigating Pay Periods
Each timesheet covers a single pay period. Here's how to move between periods and understand what you're looking at.
Current Period
When you open your Timesheet page, it defaults to the current pay period — the one that includes today's date. If you haven't logged any time yet, the timesheet will be in Draft status with an empty grid.
Moving Between Periods
Use the ← Previous and Next → arrows at the top of the timesheet to move backward or forward in time. Each click moves one pay period at a time. If you have unsaved hours in the current period, Clockwise asks before switching — the grid reloads from the server, so unsaved edits would otherwise be lost. The date range for the displayed period is shown between the arrows (e.g., "Jun 2 – Jun 8, 2025").
Click Today at any time to jump back to the current pay period.
Viewing Past Timesheets
You can navigate back as far as your history goes. Past timesheets will show their final status (Approved, Rejected, etc.) and are read-only if they've been submitted. You cannot edit an approved timesheet — contact your admin if a correction is needed.
Future Periods
You cannot enter hours for future dates. Cells for days that haven't happened yet are locked, even if you navigate forward. The timesheet for a future period can be opened, but the grid will be empty and non-editable.
Browsing All Timesheets
For a list view of all your timesheets across periods, go to the Timesheets page in the sidebar. From there you can filter by status, date range, or search — and click any row to open the detail view. See Browsing All Timesheets for details.
